Gunman robs woman in Scotland, Pa.

SCOTLAND, Pa. ? Pennsylvania State Police were investigating an armed robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon at the Comfort Inn, 3301 Black Gap Road.

Police said a masked gunman entered the hotel shortly before 3 p.m. and demanded cash from the victim, a 45-year-old Chambersburg, Pa., woman, and fled. The report did not indicate if the woman was a hotel employee or guest.

Armed with a handgun, the man was described by police as about 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a mask with cutouts for the eyes and mouth. He was dressed in a red hooded sweat shirt with white stripes down the sleeves, baggy jeans and sneakers.
