Rose M. Johnson and John R. Christopher wish to announce their engagement.

Miss Johnson is the daughter of the late Rose C. Black and the late William C. Black Jr.. She attended Smithsburg High School and is a graduate of James Rumsey Technical Institute. She is employed by Correctional Medical Services.

Mr. Christopher is the son of Roland E. Christopher and M. Jean Christopher of Boonsboro. He attended South Hagerstown High School. He is employed by Maryland Correctional Training Center.

A winter wedding is planned.




Randle and Norma Jean Parks of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sandra Jean Parks, to Marc Andrew Gallagher, son of Colleen A. and Mark D. Gallagher of Pasadena, Md.

Ms. Parks is a 1989 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Del., and a 1996 graduate of University of Maryland at College Park with a degree in biochemistry. She is employed at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore.

Mr. Gallagher is a graduate of North East High School in Pasadena and University of Maryland at Baltimore County with a degree in computer science. He is employed by Department of Defense in Fort Meade, Md.

A February wedding is planned in Frederick, Md.




Cari-Anne Jodoin and Gregory M. Conklin wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Jodoin is the daughter of Lawrence and Susan Jodoin of Hagerstown. She is a 1996 graduate of McConnellsburg High School in McConnellsburg, Pa., and received a communications certificate in 1996 from Defense Information School. She is attending Hagerstown Business College. She is employed by Routzhan's in Hagerstown as a receptionist.

Mr. Conklin is the son of William B. and Kandi L. Fullerton of Hagerstown. He is a 1990 graduate of Port Jervis High School in Port Jervis, N.Y. He attended Miami Dade Community College from 1990 to 1992 as a psychology major and from 1992 to 1995 attended Community College of the Air Force. He is employed by Routzhan's in Frederick, Md., as a salesman.

A Feb. 26 wedding is planned.
