Michelle L. Winston

KEARNEYSVILLE, W.Va. - Michelle Lynnett Winston, 10, of Kearneysville, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Ranson, W.Va.

Born July 19, 1989, in Martinsburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of Tina M. Winston of Martinsburg.

She was a fifth-grade student at North Jefferson Elementary School in Kearneysville.

She was a member of Trinity Temple Church of God in Martinsburg.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her grandparents, James and Frances Ferguson of Kearneysville, with whom she lived; six sisters, Shalonda Winston, Marquitta Winston and Bioncca Winston, all at home, Ebony Winston, Malika Winston and Katisha Winston, all of Martinsburg; two brothers, Tevis Winston and Gary Winston, both at home; aunts; uncles; great-aunts and great-uncles.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Natanya Winston.

Services will be Friday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. Elder Raymond Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.; and Friday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Robert H. Tresler

STATE LINE, Pa. - Robert Hoy Tresler, 70, of 15809 Pennsylvania Ave., died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at his home.

Born Aug. 31, 1929, in State Line, he was the son of the late Alvey C. and Hazel M. O'Neal Tresler.

He was a 1949 graduate of Greencastle (Pa.) High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was a construction worker for Callas Construction Co. of Hagerstown, retiring in 1992.

He was a Protestant.

He was a member of Frank Carbaugh American Legion Post 373 in Greencastle.

He is survived by three sisters, Catherine L. Shearer of Carlisle, Pa., Doris J. Tressler and Nancy L. Crider, both of State Line; two brothers, Harry W. Tressler of Big Pool, Md., and Donald E. Tresler of State Line; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. The Rev. Joseph Quesenberry will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Washington County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

David R. Durst

David Robert Durst, 79, of 11233 Lakeside Drive, Hagerstown, and formerly of Gaithersburg, Md., died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, at Colton Villa Nursing Center in Hagerstown.

Born June 3, 1920, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late David Anthony and Ruth Marie Edwards Durst.

He retired from Weinchel Engineering in Gaithersburg, Md.; and was a former president of D.B. Electronics in Gaithersburg.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Williamsport.

He was a member of American Legion in Laurel, Md.; National Rifle Association; Montgomery Bowling Association; and Senior Citizens Bowling League.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Vivian Louise Durst; a daughter, Judith Carolyn Durst Killen of Hagerstown; a son, David Anthony Durst of Stanley, Va.; a brother, Ronald C. Durst of Atlanta; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Durst.

Graveside services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown. The Rev. Christopher P. Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown.

There will be no viewing.

Arrangements are by Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown.

Bethel I. Orr

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Bethel I. Orr, 89, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1999, in Berryville, Va.

Born April 19, 1910, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late James and Nannie Unger Swaim.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd A. Orr.

She retired from Perfection Garment Co.

She was a member of Central Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Janice Ryan of Williamsport; and a son, James E. Orr of Inwood, W.Va.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margie Lighter and Iona Swaim.

Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St. in Martinsburg. The Rev. Warren F. Kenney will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Paul R. McLucas Sr.

Paul Rich McLucas Sr., 71, of Hagerstown, died Monday, Nov. 8, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.

Born May 16, 1928, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Samuel Luther and Amy Viola Moser McLucas.

He was employed by Statton Furniture Co., retiring in 1986.

He was a Protestant.
