Man wanted in home invasion surrenders

A city man wanted in connection with a Dale Street home invasion turned himself in to Hagerstown City Police Monday, police said.

Steven Vincent Dillinger, 21, of 427 W. Franklin St., was charged with burglary, use of a handgun in a crime, and three counts each of second-degree assault, three counts of robbery, and false imprisonment.

He was being held Tuesday on $75,000 bond.

On Aug. 22, police were called to 819 Dale St. for reports that three men had broken in, tied up two women and robbed and assaulted a male resident. The intruders were wearing ski masks.

Money and property worth more than $300 were stolen.

Diamond Christopher Scott, 21, was arrested on Aug. 24. He was charged with two counts each of robbery, false imprisonment and second-degree assault and one count of burglary.

A third man is expected to be identified when fingerprints come back from the FBI lab, police said.
