Thurmont and Emmitsburg Community Show

The 43rd annual show will feature more than 2,500 farm and garden, household, quilt, livestock, machinery and commercial displays. This year's show will honor Rocky Ridge Fire Company's 50th anniversary. All baked goods exhibited will be auctioned Friday. Saturday, beef, sheep and swine fitting and showing, pet show. Frederick County Sheriff's Posse Band will play Saturday, 6 to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 1:30 and 3 p.m. Catoctin High School, Thurmont, Md.
