MARTINSBURG, W. Va. - Martinsburg City Police arrested six people after a fight involving people armed with clubs and baseball bats at West Race and Auburn streets Wednesday evening.
Police said when they arrived at the scene at 7:31 p.m. six men and one woman were fighting.
Those arrested included:
* James Wesley Faircloth, 19, of 623 Union Ave., Martinsburg, charged with disturbing the peace. He was released after posting $157 bond.
* Benjamin Paul Knotts, 23, of 238 N. Raleigh St., Martinsburg, charged with disorderly conduct, battery and driving with a suspended license. He was released after posting $616 bond.
Knotts also was issued a citation for leaving a vehicle unattended on public property. Police said the keys were left in the ignition and the parking brake was not engaged.
