A robbery suspect who jumped from a third-floor window at the Holiday Motel in Hagerstown has died from his injuries, officials said Wednesday.

Reggie Wright, 22, of Cambridge, Mass., also known as William Jose Figueroa, suffered head injuries when he went out the window about 6:30 a.m. Monday, Hagerstown City Police said.

He died Tuesday morning at Washington County Hospital, the hospital said.

Police are still looking for a second man who escaped out the window and fled on foot.

Police said two men forced their way into Room 33 of the hotel at 12 N. Prospect St., displayed a handgun and demanded money from the occupants.

Someone in the room next door heard a disturbance and kicked open the locked door, police said.

As the person was trying to get in the door, one of the two men broke out a window and both men jumped, police said.

A handgun was found on the ground next to Wright, police said.

The man who fled was about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighed 140 pounds, and was in his 20s. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and long pants, Spielman said.

Anyone with information about the robbery may contact police at 301-790-3700 or Crime Solvers at 301-733-4141.
