Hagerstown man wins Annapolis' 10-mile run

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Merrill Hausensluck of Hagerstown won his third straight Annapolis 10-mile run Sunday in the 28th running of the event.

Hausensluck, a member of the Cumberland Valley Athletic Club, posted a time of 53:58, 28 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Brian Doherty, representing the U.S. Navy.

The race is the largest 10-mile race in Maryland with 4,000 participants.

Crazy Horse/Yankees win

FREDERICK, Md. - The Crazy Horse/Yankees went unbeaten while winning the NSA Men's Class C Regional tournament. The team moves on to the Super C World Series in Orlando on Oct. 15-17.

Crazy Horse/Yankees were led by Brent Taylor, Pork Wallech, Denny Wallech, Bobby McPherson, Ronny Brown, Johnny Byers and Rick Ricker, who were all named to the all-tournament team.
