Over 6,000 works of art, with a focus on American art from the 19th and early 20th centuries, displayed in a series of changing exhibitions in the museum's 11 galleries. Tours may be arranged in advance. The building is handicapped accessible.

The museum also offers a library, a gift shop, art workshops, youth programs, musical recitals and lectures.


Free museum admission and parking; donations accepted.


Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.



Take the time to look over the brochures and information posted next to each piece of art. You can learn some interesting things about the artists and their work. Also, don't plan on taking any pictures; cameras are not allowed in the museum.
