Adam Kees Memorial Tournament

Maugansville 9, South Mountain 2: Tommy Garrett threw a four-hitter with 10 strikeouts to lead Maugansville. Ryan Keegan had two hits for South Mountain.

Halfway 7, Valley 6: Steve Picone threw a six hitter with seven strikeouts and Keith King had two hits for Halfway.

River City Classic

American 12, Conococheague 4: Travis Kelley and James Scott each had two hits to lead American. Joey Siler and Austin Barkdoll had two hits for Conococheague.

South Mountain 4, Federal 0: Cameron Shifler and Aaron Dickson threw a two-hit shutout for South Mountain. Shifler had three hits and Dickson added two. Andrew Stout and Justin Johnson had the only hits for Federal.

Paul Brandenburg Tournament

West End 21, Halfway 11: Corey Diehl went 4-for-4 to lead West End. Dustin Saylor added three hits, including a homer, while Ellis Fennell and Dwayne Weaver each had two hits.

Andrew Duff had two hits for Halfway.

South Mountain 14, Valley 3: Mike Coe fired a three hitter with seven strikeouts and Travis Hahn went 3-for-3. Adam Chambers, Danny Stitley and Mike Coe had two hits for South Mountain.




* ADULT LEAGUES

Hub City/Pinesburg Softball

Hagerstown Billiards and Cafe/Adam's Pizza 20, Talley Metals 12: Donnie Blickenstaff hit three home runs and Scott Remsburg had four hits, including a home run, as Hagerstown Billiards/Adam's clinched the Division 2 championship. Danny Berg and Joey Springer each had four hits, while Jeff Hetzer, Mook Malloy, Mike Green, Denny Bryan and Leon Allen each had three hits. Hetzer and Green homered. Scott Burger and Jimmy Rohrer had four hits for Talley Metals. Jeff Myers had three hits, including a grand slam.

Dual Highway Motors 21, Osborne's 20: Brian Selby had five hits, including a homer, while Jason Stotler and Keith Sawyers had four hits for Dual Highway.

Hagerstown Area Church Softball

Grace Brethren 47, Bethel 6: Kenny Shanholtz and Rodger Helman both had six hits while Tim Klick, Kelly Colbert and Dave O'Dell had five hits and O'Dell hit for the cycle for Grace Brethren. Paul Hatfield pitched a complete game and Mike Mowen hit two home runs.
