Crews to pave parts of Downsville Pike

Crews will be paving parts of Downsville Pike for eight nights, starting tonight, as they finish up work on a new interchange, said David Buck, a State Highway Administration spokesman. The $6.17 million project, scheduled for completion on Sept. 8, is designed to address growth in the region, he said. The federal government is footing 80 percent of the bill for the interchange and the state 20 percent.
