Mr. and Mrs. Marty Keesecker of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Mr. and Mrs. Rick Vaughn of Hagerstown wish to announce the engagement of their children, Elizabeth Morris Hiller and Timothy Lloyd Vaughn. Ms. Hiller also is the daughter of Wyatt T.M. Hiller.

Ms. Hiller is a 1996 graduate of Martinsburg High School. She is pursuing a degree in psychology at Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va. She is employed with B. Moss in Martinsburg Mall.

Mr. Vaughn is a 1995 graduate of Williamsport High School. He also is pursuing a degree in psychology at Shepherd College. He is employed with Ground Round Restaurant and 4-Star Athletic Complex in Hagerstown.

A June 2000 wedding is planned.




Marci L. Maciel and Jeffrey S. Dawson wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Maciel is the daughter of Marylou Maciel of Overland Park, Kan., and Clement J. Maciel Jr. of Kansas City, Mo. She is a graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School. She is employed as a payroll coordinator by B.S.C. Holding Inc. in Mission, Kan.

Mr. Dawson is the son of Donna L. Dawson of Frederick, Md., and Robert R. Dawson of Harpers Ferry, W.Va. He is a graduate of Linganore High School and University of Maryland at College Park. He received an associate's degree in automotive technology from Catonsville Community College. He is employed by Jack Miller Oldsmobile as an automobile technician.

An Oct. 15 wedding is planned.




Millie Schlotterbeck of Harleysville, Pa., announces the engagement of her son, Michael Schlotterbeck, to Jeneen Rutan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Rutan of Cherry Hill, N.J. Mr. Schlotterbeck also is the son of the late Vernon H. Schlotterbeck, who lived in Hagerstown.

Miss Rutan is a graduate of Cherry Hill East High School and Elizabethtown College. She is employed as social services director at Cherry Hill Convalescent Center.

Mr. Schlotterbeck is a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School and Elizabethtown College. He is employed as assistant director of marketing at Temple University in Ambler, Pa.

An October wedding is planned.




Gregory Lawrence Michaels and Lisa Ann Bosley wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Bosley is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bosley of Frostburg, Md. She is a 1990 graduate of Beall High School and received a bachelor of science degree in early childhood/elementary education from Frostburg State University. She is employed at YMCA Family Center in Cumberland, Md., as a child development specialist.

Mr. Michaels is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Michaels of Hagerstown. He is a 1990 graduate of South Hagerstown High School and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration/marketing from Frostburg State University. He is the assistant manager of Enterprise Car Rental in Cumberland.

An Aug. 7 wedding is planned.




Rachel LaDonna Cochran and Kim Duane Keller wish to announce their engagement.

Ms. Cochran is the daughter of Delphine Bixby of Hayden, Idaho, and Lyle Cochran of Roseburg, Ore. She is a 1983 graduate of Nazarene High School in Roseburg. She is employed as an employee benefit specialist with Foster Soltoff and Love Financial Services in Bethesda, Md.

Mr. Keller is the son of Richard and Shirley Cornwell of Cumberland, Md., and John W. Keller of Hagerstown. He is a 1973 graduate of Fort Hill High School and received an associate's degree in media technology from Allegany Community College in 1978. He is employed as a salesman with Value City Furniture in Hagerstown.

A Sept. 5 wedding is planned.




Charlene K. Lloyd of Hagerstown and James R. Kerns of Keedysville wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline Renee Kerns, to Keith Randall Davis, son of Bonnie and Eddie Davis of Charles Town, W.Va.

Ms. Kerns is a graduate of Boonsboro High School and Radford University in Radford, Va. She is employed as manager of Brooks Brothers in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of Jefferson High School and Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va. He is employed by Witch Golf Links in Myrtle Beach as an assistant golf professional.
