Robert A. Shultz

Robert Amel Shultz, 71, formerly of 351 Radcliffe Ave., Hagerstown, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Williamsport Nursing Home.

Born July 27, 1927, in Dallas, he was the son of the late Major Amel and Lula Gregory Shultz.

He retired from Brandt Cabinet Works.

He was a member of the Hagerstown Corps of the Salvation Army; Men's Club; and League of Mercy.

He is survived by a sister, June Chinnis of Jacksville, Fla.; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Moore and Evangeline M. Smith.

Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at The Salvation Army, 534 W. Franklin St., Hagerstown. Major Robert Henderson will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown; and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10 a.m. at the Salvation Army.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Barbara E. Marstiller

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Barbara Ellen Marstiller, 83, of Martinsburg, died Friday, July 16, 1999, at her home.

Born April 27, 1916, in Pike County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Boone and Annie Potter Bowling.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Allen Harris; and her second husband, James Marstiller.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Ann Harris and Edna May Milburn, both of Martinsburg; two sons, William B. Harris of Martinsburg and Eugene Lee Harris at home; her fiance, Irvin Barron of Martinsburg; three sisters, Louise Kilgore of Man, W.Va., Vinita Coleman and Florence Bartley, both of Kentucky; two brothers, Howard Bowling of Bowling Fork, Ky. and Joe J. Bowling of Irving, Ky.; 19 grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Boone Harris; two sisters; and two brothers.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. John J. Frattarola will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Cora B. Stine

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Cora Belle Stine, 86, a resident of Falling Spring Nursing Home, and formerly of 4233 Shatzer St., died Friday, July 16, 1999, at the nursing home.

Born Oct. 9, 1912, in Greencastle, Pa., she was the daughter of the late William Grant and Mary Ellen Stinger Stine.

She attended school in Greencastle.

She was employed as a seamstress at Stanley Company, Chambersburg for 25 years, retiring in 1977.

She is survived by her common-law-husband, Lawrence Edward Hancock also a resident of Falling Spring Nursing Home; a daughter, Elenor E. Willis of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Warren R. Wallech of Pikesville, Md.; a sister, Jeanette Bupp of Rouzerville, Pa.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Mark Willis and Kevin Willis; sisters and brothers.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Miller-Grove Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St., Greencastle. Pastor Stuart Troutman will officiate. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends today from 1 to 4 p.m. and Monday two hours before the services at the funeral home.

Tilda V. Spinks

HARPERS FERRY, W.Va. - Tilda Virginia Spinks, 41, of Keyes Ferry Acres, died Saturday, July 17, 1999, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson, W.Va.

Born Oct. 15, 1957, in Jefferson County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles Lee and Geraldine Virginia Hardy Hite.

She was a homemaker.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of seven years, Ronnie W. Spinks; two sons, Bryan Scott Corder at home and Franklin Pittman Corder of Ranson; two stepdaughters, Lisa Michelle Rose and Jennifer Lauren Spinks, both of Purcellville, Va.; three sisters, Peggy Kanehl of Middleway, W.Va., Patsy Hite of Charles Town, W.Va. and Pamela Hoffman of Kearneysville, W.Va.; two brothers, Charles Hite and Gary Hite, both of Charles Town; two step grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town. The Rev. Parker Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, W.Va.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

David O. Cline

LOS ANGELES - A local service for David O. Cline, 61, formerly of Sharpsburg, who died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, will be held Wednesday, July 28, at 7 p.m. at Christ's Reformed Church in Cavetown. The Rev. Ronald Kaufman will officiate.
