Girio-Shockey

Nancy Lynn Shockey and David Matthew Girio were married Oct. 24, 1998, at Trinity United Church of Christ.

The bride is the daughter of Ronald and Doris Hovis of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Yvonne Girio of Berwick, Pa., and Richard Girio of Williamsport, Pa.

The bride attended Allegany College in Cumberland, Md. She is a dental hygienist and is employed by Drs. Fred and Rebecca Bye, Antietam Periodontics in Hagerstown.

The bridegroom received his bachelor of science degree in business administration from Bloomsburg University in 1990. He is employed as a financial adviser for Legg Mason Wood Walker in Hagerstown.

Hogan-Gleason

Kathy Christine Gleason and Adam Michael Hogan were married Saturday, May 8, 1999, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of James and Mary Gleason of Smithsburg. The bridegroom is the son of Natalie Hatzenbuhler and John Hogan, both of Michigan.

The bride is a graduate of Smithsburg High School and Hagerstown Junior College. She attended Shepherd College. She is employed as a certified prekindergarten teacher at a private day-care center.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Grosse Pointe South High School, served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and is a graduate of University of Michigan. He is attending University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

They live in Ann Arbor, Mich.

 

Reuille-Mellott

Kathy Michelle Mellott and Jeffrey James Reuille were married Saturday, May 22, 1999, at First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

The bride is the daughter of Mary M. and Harry J. Mellott of Berkeley Springs. The bridegroom is the son of the late Mary Ann and William J. Reuille.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. She received an associate degree in 1991 and a bachelor of arts degree in 1993 from Fairmont (W.Va.) State College. She is employed as a receptionist by Eastern National in Gettysburg, Pa.

The bridegroom is a 1978 graduate of North Western High School in Hyattsville, Md., and a graduate of Maryland Drafting Institute in Adelphi, Md. He is employed as a shop foreman with Emmitsburg Glass in Emmitsburg, Md.

They live in Cashtown, Pa.

 

Charla-Haupt

Angela Lynn Haupt and Leonard Anthony Charla were married Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Rohrersville.

The bride is the daughter of Marsha and Ira Haupt Jr. of Rohrersville. The bridegroom is the son of Stephen and Florence Charla of Wellington, Fla.

The bride attended Hagerstown Community College and graduated from ICS in Scranton, Pa., certified as a medical office assistant. She is employed by Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.

The bridegroom attended Broward Community College in Margate, Fla., majoring in psychology. He is serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed in Washington, D.C.

They will live in Royal Palm Beach, Fla.

Colleen E. Beddow and Arthur E. Stotler were married Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

The bride is the daughter of Mary JoAnn Harris of Berkeley Springs and the late Gordon K. Harris. The bridegroom is the son of Hazel Stotler of Great Cacapon, W.Va., and the late Elwood Stotler.

The bride is employed by Morgan County Board of Education as a teacher.

The bridegroom is employed by Rayloc of Hancock.

They live in Berkeley Springs.

 

Babcock-Forrest

Melissa Ann Forrest and Duane Paul Babcock were married Saturday, July 18, 1998, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Williamsport.

The bride is the daughter of Clarence and Joann Forrest of Myersville, Md. The bridegroom is the son of the late Linsley and Merthel Babcock.

The bride is a 1993 graduate of Middletown High School and is attending James Rumsey Technical Institute where she will graduate as a licensed practical nurse in June 2000. She is employed as a certified nursing assistant at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro.

The bridegroom is a 1966 graduate of Skaneateles Central High School in Skaneateles, N.Y., and a 1969 graduate of SUNY at Morrisville, N.Y., with a degree in business administration. He is employed as a sales representative and installation training instructor for J.J. Haines and Co. in Baltimore.

They live in Keedysville.

 

Esh-Gaylor

Laura Gaylor and Christian Esh were married Saturday, June 19, 1999, at Berean Bible Fellowship in State Line, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Clyde and Sandra Gaylor of Williamsport. The bridegroom is the son of Jacob and Lorraine Esh of Bennington, Vt.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Grace Academy and a 1998 graduate of Houghton College with a bachelor of arts degree in music. She is a legal secretary with Grove, Jaskiewicz and Cobert in Washington, D.C., and a piano teacher.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Houghton College and is a graduate student at University of Maryland.

They live in College Park, Md.

Kristin Michelle Gearhart and Jerry Lee Hose were married Saturday, May 8, 1999, at First Baptist Church in Hagerstown.

The bride is the daughter of Mitchell and Beverly Gearhart of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Jerry L. Hose Sr. of Hagerstown and Bonnie Bowers of Clear Spring.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and a graduate of Hagerstown Community College. She is employed at Wide Open MRI of Hagerstown.

The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He is employed by Blue Seal Feeds of Hagerstown.
