A public hearing is scheduled for Monday night for a rezoning request on a 4.61-acre property on Robinwood Drive.
Daniel Staley Developing Co. is requesting its property be rezoned from agriculture to business transitional.
The vacant property is on Robinwood Drive about 1,500 feet northeast of Medical Campus Road and near the Robinwood Medical Center.
The developer has not said what the property will be used for but this zoning designation permits businesses such as banks, beauty parlors and flower shops, said Senior Planner Lisa Kelly Pietro.
The joint rezoning public hearing is before the Board of County Commissioners and the Washington County Planning Commission. It is at 7 p.m. at Courtroom No. 1 in the Courthouse, 95 W. Washington St.
