Shelia Purser Scott and Scott Alan Neumann were married Sunday, April 25, 1999, at Ceresville Mansion in Frederick, Md.

The bride is the daughter of Mignon and Shelby Purser Jr. of Jackson, Miss. The bridegroom is the son of Edmund and Ardeth Neumann of Omaha, Neb.

The bride is a 1983 graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering and a 1993 graduate of University of Texas at San Antonio with a master of science degree in mechanical engineering. She is employed by Defense Intelligence Agency/Armed Forces Medical Intelligence as a bioenvironmental engineer in the U.S. Air Force.

The bridegroom is a 1985 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical engineering and a 1998 graduate of California State University at Fresno with a master of science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a U.S. Air Force test pilot currently with the F-117 Program Element Monitor, Pentagon.

The bride is the daughter of Samuel A. Metz of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Terry L. and Victoria L. Smith of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Carolyn Bailey of Waynesboro, Pa.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of James Buchanan High School, a 1991 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College and a 1994 graduate of Pennsylvania State University-Mont Alto. She is employed by Robinwood Orthopedic Specialists in Hagerstown as a licensed physical therapy assistant.

The bridegroom is a 1985 graduate of Greencastle-Antrim High School. He is employed by AMP Inc. in Waynesboro as an applicator assembler.

The bride is the daughter of Adrian G. and Marjorie K. Teel of Annapolis and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George R. Teel of Hagerstown. The bridegroom is the son of Marian S. Busby of Oakton, Va., and the late Roswell Franklin Busby.

The bride is a graduate of Anne Arundel Community College. She is employed by Shorecrest Preparatory School in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. He is employed as an account executive with Cisco Systems in Tampa, Fla.
