Man dies after wreck

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - A Waynesboro man injured in a vehicle accident Monday afternoon died Tuesday at Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center.

Michael Boswell, 38, of Mentzer Gap Road, was pronounced dead at 2:42 p.m., according to Pennsylvania State Police. The cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries.

Boswell had been flown to Hershey following the 5:23 p.m. accident on Mentzer Gap Road in Quincy Township. Police said he was driving a dune buggy-like vehicle about half a mile south of Creager Road when he lost control.

The vehicle rolled, and Boswell was thrown onto the roadway. The report said he was not wearing a seatbelt and police did not know whether he was wearing a helmet when the crash occurred.

The report said the accident was still under investigation.
