The Hulls

Mr. and Mrs. J. Franklin Hull of Clear Spring celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday, March 20, 1999, at a family dinner at Howard Johnson's Plaza-Hotel in Hagerstown.

The dinner was hosted by their children and their spouses, Terry and Glenna Hull of Crownsville, Md., Rick and Judy Wise of Gerrardstown, W.Va., and Pat Bowman of Westminster, Md. Their four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren attended the dinner.

The Hulls were married March 24, 1939, at the Lutheran parsonage in Manassas, Va., by the Rev. Ballantine.

Mrs. Hull is the daughter of the late Bruce and Catherine Gossard. She is retired from Maryland National Bank.

Mr. Hull is the son of the late D. Frank and Mary Hull. He is retired from U.S. Postal Service.

The Kuhlmans

Bob and Mary Lou Kuhlman celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, May 21, 1999.

They renewed their wedding vows during a mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church, performed by Monsignor Robert Passarelli Saturday, May 22, 1999.


Approximately 60 relatives and friends attended a celebration at the Elks Lodge following the service. The party was hosted by their son, Robert G. Kuhlman Jr., his wife, Joan, and their granddaughter, Kimberley, of Silver Spring, Md.

The Kuhlmans were married at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Cumberland, Md., May 21, 1949.

Mrs. Kuhlman is the former Mary Lou Lashorn, born in Cumberland to the late Charles and Alice Lashorn.

Mr. Kuhlman was born in Frostburg, Md., the son of the late Joseph and Eva Kuhlman. He worked for the Coca Cola Co. for almost 30 years. The Kuhlmans moved from the Silver Spring area to Hagerstown when he retired 15 years ago.

The Guytons

Richard and Dorothy Guyton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 22, 1999, at a dinner at Mountain Gate Restaurant in Waynesboro, Pa.

The event was attended by the Guyton's son, Steve Guyton; three daughters, Debbie Linafelter, Kathy Good and Linda McLucas; and their two grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Guyton were married in 1949.

Mrs. Guyton is the former Dorothy Hooker, daughter of Eugene and Evelyn Hooker of Roanoke, Va.

Mr. Guyton is the son of the late Homer and Mary Guyton.
