Star Wars fans ... get your tickets

At one minute after midnight on Wednesday, May 19, a major celestial force will enter the Tri-State area.

At that time, ''Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace'' premieres at R/C Hagerstown Cinema 10, Waynesboro Theatre in Waynesboro, Pa., and at the theater at Chambersburg Mall in Chambersburg, Pa. The movie will hit the screen at 1 p.m. that day at Hoyts Martinsburg Cinema 10 in Martinsburg, W.Va.

The film, rated "PG," is the first of three prequels to George Lucas' legendary trilogy, which includes "Star Wars: A New Hope," "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi."

Here's where you can get your tickets:

R/C Hagerstown Cinema 10: Already on sale; adults, $7; children and senior citizens, $5; all matinee seats, $5 (for shows before 5:30 p.m.). Limit 12 per person; no passes accepted.

Hoyts Martinsburg (W.Va.) Cinema 10: Already on sale; all matinee seats, $5 (for shows before 6 p.m.); all other shows, $6.75.

Waynesboro (Pa.) Theatre: On sale at 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 18; ages 12 and older, $5; ages 11 and younger and 62 and older, $3. Limit 10 tickets at a time.

Chambersburg (Pa.) Mall: On sale at noon Tuesday, May 18; adults, $6.25; children ages 3 to 11 and adults 55 and older, $4.25; children younger than 3, free; all matinee seats, $4.25 (for shows before 6 p.m.). Limit 10 per customer; no passes accepted; no strollers in theater.
