A traffic stop at 10:39 p.m. Wednesday yielded illegal drugs and an arrest, according to Washington County Sheriff's deputies.

John Calvin Walls, age unknown, of Pheasant Trail, has been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

The man was stopped at Md. 63 and Honeyfield Road in Williamsport after Deputy Richard Peacock saw him spinning his wheels at a red light, police reports said.

A bag of marijuana was found hidden in a ski glove and more marijuana was found in the man's pocket, deputies said.

Two four-wheelers, valued at $5,800, were taken earlier this week from 2735 Chestnut Grove Road in Keedysville, according to Maryland State Police.


They were a 1998 Honda 300EX, black and red; and a 1991 Yamaha Blaster, yellow and green.

Washington County deputies on Wednesday investigated the theft of two Maryland dealer tags from Massey Ford. They are 1A 30402 and 1A 30405.

Other incidents investigated Wednesday:

* A truck was vandalized with paint at 11320 Greenberry Road.

* Someone took $300 from a vehicle parked at K-Mart in the Valley Plaza.

* A vehicle was keyed at 17537 York Road and traffic signs were damaged in the 11425 block of Manse Road.
