American Little League

FOP 7, Thompson Concrete 3: Jeremiah Twigg struck out 14 and allowed only one hit to lead FOP.

Eagle 6, Goodwill 0: John Brand was the winning pitcher and Mike Mumma had two hits for Eagle. Quielan Gantt had two hits for Goodwill.

Clear Spring Little League

Cubs 5, Astros 3: Winning pitcher Cody Beard struck out 14 and collected two hits. Tommy Stotler had two hits for the Astros.

Blue Jays 14, Orioles 1: Willie Calhoun, Travis Divelbiss, Joel Fitz and Randy Leonard all had two hits for the Blue Jays.

Conococheague Little League

Byer's Market 10, Lions 9: Corey Itnyre had three hits, including a two-run homer, while Seth Hahn had two hits for Byer's. Ken Singhaf and David Bussard each had two hits for Lions.

Redmen 4, Post 202 1: Andy Taylor struck out 14 while scattering three hits for Redmen, which got two doubles from Tyler Beard. John Welsh had two hits for Post 202.

Federal Little League

Exchange 16, Lions 13: Jordan Hanft and Justin Mellot banged out two hits each for Exchange. Brent Toms hit three home runs for the Lions while teammate Nick Ranieli collected two hits.

Rotary 21, Alsatia 5: Matt Ridenour had three hits and Stephan Zerance had two for Rotary. Cory Garver had two hits for Alsatia.

Halfway Little League

Lions 13, Gibney's 2: Joey Richards struck out 13 and Sam Ward had an inside-the-park home run to lead Lions. Mike Larkin and Andy Murry added two hits each.

Gehr 4, Valley Storage Bin 3: Jimmy Sutch and Nick Adenhart combined for 15 strikeouts and Devon Vinci drove in the game-winning run in the seventh for Gehr. Adenhart got the win and had two solo homers on the day.

Hoffman Auto 6, Redmen 5: Brian Everitts, Aaron Smith and Derek Hadley combined for 15 strikeouts for Hoffman Auto. Everitts had three hits and Hadley added two.

Hancock Little League

Yankees 11, Pirates 1: John Elmore had two home runs among his three hits and collected five RBIs for the Yankees. Jared Trail had two hits for the Pirates.

Yankees 10, Tigers 4: In a game started Thursday and completed Saturday, Tyler Younker had out three hits and two RBIs and also struck out 11. P.J. Hixom had three hits for the Tigers.

Tigers 5, Astros 4: P.J. Hixom had three hits and Derick Lingerman struck out six to lead the Tigers. Alex Younker had a double and two RBIs for the Astros.

Maugansville Little League

Burkholder's 6, Home Care 5: Winning pitcher Thomas Garrett had two hits for Burkholder's. Derek Keener led Home Care with two hits.

Maugans Oil 16, Executone 6: Mike Wallech and Doug Jones had four hits each to lead Maugans Oil. Justin Weaver and Chris Baer collected three hits each for Maugans Oil. Corey Monroe had two hits for Executone.

National Little League

Amvets 3, Longmeadow Exxon 2: Jeremy McAfee struck out 15 and had two doubles to lead Amvets. Brad Crouse had 13 strikeouts and Patrick Hutzler had two hits in the loss for Longmeadow.

Sharpsburg Little League

Lions Club 16, Company 1 1 3: Kris Showe and Greg Sheets each had two hits, and Showe struck out eight to earn the win for the Lions Club.

Smithsburg Little Sluggers

Total Lube 19, Cavetown Planing 12: Josh Conway went 4-for-5 with a home run to lead Total Lube. Brock Kettoman had three hits and Joshua McKenzie added two hits.

Mace Auto Body 2, Bair Pools 1: Kevin Jaye and Logan Miller combined on a three-hitter and struck out 13 in the win for Mace.

Gouff Construction 27, Donnie's Plumbing 18: Kyle Wivel had four hits and Mike Miller and Al Reed added three hits each on Thursday night.

South Mountain Little League

Pete's Barber Shop 2, Reese's 1: Brandon Painter allowed three hits while striking out 11, and hit a game-winning solo homer in the bottom of the sixth for Pete's. Jeremiah Mills struck out 10 and allowed only four hits for Reese's.

Valley Little League

Chewsville 14, SMRG 1: Winning pitcher Zach Lloyd had three hits, and Andrew Jordan and Matt Fortese added two each for Chewsville. Miles Chan had two hits for SMRG.

Pangborn 15, Rocky's 1: A.J. Meckl and Joe Acre combined on a four-hitter and struck out 13. Matt Feiser had three hits while Meckl had two.

West End Little League

Coca-Cola 8, VFW 7: Winning pitcher J.C. McElroy had three hits and Cory Berger added two for Coca-Cola.

Stags 4, Elks 3: Orland Dean slugged a home run and the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the sixth inning to lead Stags. He was also the winning pitcher. Carle Shulte had the Elks' lone hit.

Halfway Senior League

Carpet Gallery 10, Funkstown Legion 5: Jason Hancock and Buddy Starner combined to strike out 11 to lead Carpet Gallery. Walter Drill had three hits, including a three-run homer, while Carlos Gomez added two hits for Carpet Gallery. Josh Clark delivered two hits, including a three-run homer, for Funkstown Legion.

Maugansville Senior League

Maugansville Ruritan 4, Shawleys 1: Travis Yates struck out 12 and allowed three hits in picking up the win. Jason Litten also homered for Ruritan. Luke Henry fanned eight for Shawleys and Simon Henry added two hits.
