NATO meeting prompts bus schedule changes

The MTA has been advised by government officials to refrain from operating in Washington, D.C., on Friday due to a special meeting of NATO.

On that date, commuter bus lines will end morning service at METRO lots and commence evening service at the same locations. Except where noted, commuter lines will operate on holiday schedules.

* Bus No. 904, a.m. - North Beach Post Office: 6 and 6:50, fairgrounds: 5:25 and 6:30; p.m. - Eastern Market Metro Station: 5:18 to North Beach, 3:53, 4:53 and 5:53 to fairgrounds.

* Bus No. 905, a.m. - Charlotte Hall: 5:15, 5:30, 5:50, 6:05, 6:20, 6:40, 6:50, 7:05 and 7:20; p.m. - Anacostia Metro Station: 3:35, 3:55, 4:15, 4:40, 4:55, 5:15, 5:40, 5:55 and 6:20.

* Bus No. 921, a.m. and p.m. - regular service between Annapolis and New Carrollton Metro stations.

* Bus No. 922, no service.

* Bus No. 923, a.m. to New Carrollton Metro - 6, 7:10 and 7:40; p.m. from New Carrollton Metro - 4:15, 5:25 and 6:35.

* Bus No. 929, a.m. to Silver Spring Metro - Harper's Choice: 5:10, 6:20, 6:30, 6:55 and noon, Md. 108 Beech Creek: 5:34 and 6:39, U.S. 40 and U.S. 29: 6:05 and 7:15, Fayette Street in Baltimore: 6:45; p.m. from Silver Spring Metro - Harper's Choice: 1:10, 4:05, 5:35, 6:10, 6:25, 6:45 and 8:15, Md. 108 Beech Creek: 5:10 and 6, U.S. 40 and U.S. 29: 5:35, West Fayette Street in Baltimore: 4:25.

* Bus No. 991, a.m. - Hagerstown to Shady Grove Metro: 5, 5:50 and 6:45; p.m. - Shady Grove to Frederick/Hagerstown: 4:50, 5:30 and 6:40.

* Bus No. 995, a.m. to Stadium Armory Metro Station - Harper's Choice: 5:50, Thunder Hill and Lightning View: 6:59; p.m. from Stadium Armory - Harper's Choice: 4:40, Thunder Hill and Lightning View: 5:50.
