"I would like to thank snow angel Bill Conway for cleaning the snow out of our driveway on Gilardi Road. Thank you very much and keep up the good work."

"We would like to thank our neighbors Dick Lattimore, and Ray Savaca for cleaning the snow from our sidewalk and driveway. We would also like to thank Edwina Lattimore for checking on us to see if we were OK or needed anything. They are truly good neighbors and we appreciate them for their acts of kindness."

"I'm calling about the Maryland Theatre. Some time ago they had a show down there, I don't know if it was called 'Up With People,' but it showed a lot of Hagerstown, Funkstown, Williamsport people, different sceneries, trades and things like that. Different ones in the theater would call out their names. I wonder if they could show that again. It was very good and very interesting. Love to see it again."

"I need to get in touch with the man who witnessed the accident at the intersection of Summit and Baltimore avenues with the church van and the Honda CRX Civic. Could he please give me a call at 301-393-4608. I would appreciate it. He was in a Jeep and it was an older man."

"I'm reading in the paper, concerning the smoking on school property. I had been down to Marshall Street on some business, down at the Marshall Center, and I saw two employees outside smoking. Plus, I saw two more on the other side of the building when I left the school. I don't think that it looked very nice because the smell on their clothes and hair. They are taking it back into the residents there."

"This is to Chris Carter, Board of Education, and to Schools Superintendent Bartlett. I pay taxes, too. I would like to know how these board buses get away with doing their shopping with the bus and going home and going back on the run at a later time. You don't see the county buses running around all the time, because it costs money, and they are taking a chance on letting these buses be here, there and anywhere like over at Martin's, Pharmhouse, and different places. You don't see them one day, it's every day. I know that there are some people from the Board of Education out there that see this, why isn't there a stop put to this?"

"I would like to thank my brother-in-law, Don Klick, for keeping my driveway and porch cleared of snow this year. He's a real good guy."

"I would like to give a big thank you to Danny at the Battery Warehouse. Every time I go there he has always been pleasant and treats his customers with respect. Most of all he is honest. You don't find many people around like him. Thank you."

"This is to the person who called in about smoking being a drug on March 18. Well if we are going to eliminate that we should eliminate caffeine because that's a drug, too. Think about these things, if you're going to eliminate smoking, fine, take care of the students. The adults have a right to do what they want to do when it comes to that. Don't take away their rights."

"Marijuana should be legalized."

"I think if people want to use their cell phones in their cars, let them do so. At least they know what they are doing instead of driving drunk."

"I want to thank my snow angels, Clint my next-door neighbor, and my son and daughter-in-law, Judy and Dave, for cleaning my driveway and walk."

"I'm hoping the person who picked up my bag of groceries at the cashier area at County Market on Thursday, March 18, at approximately 5:15 p.m. is honest enough to return them to the store."

"I was wondering when they were going to start to fix the potholes in Hagerstown, especially on Northern Avenue from the railroad crossing to Pennsylvania Avenue in the right hand lane. It is terrible. Use some of the money to fix the potholes, please!"

"To the city of Hagerstown, please consider putting speed bumps on Franklin Street and Washington Avenue because of the two most recent accidents where young people have gotten killed and hurt in the past three weeks. There are children that live in that neighborhood and I think something should be done immediately."

"This business with these crossing guards not appearing in public with their uniforms on, how are they supposed to be on the corner doing what they're supposed to be doing if they aren't in public? If they want to go across the street to get a thing of milk to take home, is that anybody else's business?"
