FREDERICK, Md. - Cellular One, Dobson Cellular Systems of Frederick, recently had a new kiosk designed and built for its Valley Mall location in Hagerstown by Dimensions, a design and build firm from Frederick.

The new kiosk design is the first of its kind and will become a standard for all of its future kiosks.

Martin's Food Markets




Martin's Food Markets expects to deliver 350,000 pounds of donated food and health care items collected at stores in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia to food banks on March 14.

The grocery chain's 5th annual food drive, Martin's Bags Hunger, began on Feb. 21.

Area food banks slated to share the donations include Food Resources in Hagerstown and Loaves & Fishes in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Summit Health




CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Summit Health will offer a Supermarket Tour on March 16 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Giant Food Inc., in Chambersburg. The cost is $5, payable to Chambersburg Hospital. Sarabeth Johnson will teach how to read labels and choose healthy foods.

A two-part first aid course and Adult Heartsaver Plus CPR will be offered by Summit Health on March 17 and 18, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Waynesboro (Pa.) Hospital Total Life Center. The cost is $47 for both nights or $23 for CPR or first aid.

Summit Health will offer a Senior Horizon educational program titled, "Vitamins and Nutrition" on March 18, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Waynesboro Hospital Conference Room. Blood pressure will be taken 30 minutes before the presentation.

An adult CPR course will also be offered by Summit Health on March 20 from 8 a.m. to noon at Chambersburg Hospital Lecture Room A. The cost is $24.

Associated Builders and Contractors




The Associated Builders and Contractors Inc., Cumberland Valley Chapter was honored for excellence in community service at the ABC National Convention recently in Maui, Hawaii.

John F. Barr, 1998 president; Joan Warner, executive director; and J.R. Huntzberry of Callas Contractors accepted the award for ABC.

ABC chapter members donated 98 percent of all construction labor, supplies and materials for Children's Village, an educational program that teaches safety to every second grade student in Washington County.

Children's Village consists of small replicas of buildings, cars, stop lights, crosswalks, sidewalks, driveways, roads and schools.

National Automobile Dealers Association




MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - George L. Miller, president of Apple Valley Chevrolet-Geo-Oldsmobile-Toyota Inc. and Miller's Chrysler-Plymouth-Jeep-Eagle in Martinsburg was named 1999 treasurer and chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association's Finance Committee at the association's 82nd annual convention and equipment exposition in San Francisco.

Miller is also president of Miller Honda-Volkswagen-Isuzu-Suzuki and Miller Mitsubishi in Winchester, Va.

He also serves on NADA's Guide Book and Real Estate committees.

Longaberger Co.




MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Longaberger Co. sales consultant Arlene Householder, of Martinsburg, recently attended Longaberger Across America '99, a one-day networking event throughout the country including Baltimore.

The event included company updates, new product information, testimonials from Longaberger sales consultants, training sessions, recognition and product displays.

It was hosted jointly by the company and its independent sales directors.
