Steven C. Fulk

Steven Clark Fulk, 43, of Hagerstown, died Monday, March 8, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.

Born March 25, 1955, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of Esther Dailey Fulk of Calvert County, Md., and the late James Fulk.

He was a 1973 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cindi Fulk; a son, Stephen James Fulk of Hagerstown; a stepdaughter, Crystal Maners of Hagerstown; a brother, Bradley Fulk of Prince Frederick, Md.; a step grandchild; and a nephew.

Services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Julia M. Williams

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Julia M. Williams, 81, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at Winchester Medical Center.

Born June 25, 1917, in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Julia P. Cashman McNamee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Williams Sr.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church; and Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She was a member of Senior Womens Club, Martinsburg.

She is survived by a son, John Edward Williams of Martinsburg; a brother, James McNamee of Martinsburg; a grandson, J. D. Williams; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Vincent McNamee, Anthony McNamee and Julian McNamee.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. John V. DiBacco Jr. will be celebrant. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Capital Campaign, 233 S. Queen St., Martinsburg, WV 25401.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Bernice M. Snare

WILLIAMSPORT - Bernice Mae Snare, 92, of 154 N. Artizan St., formerly of 2629 Virginia Ave., died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at Williamsport Retirement Village.

Born Feb. 13, 1907, in Huntingdon County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Grace Conrad Russell Dorman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Irvin Snare, in 1977.

Until retirement, she was employed as an inspector for Holland Lavel Mill in Williamsport. She previously was employed by J.C. Blair of Huntingdon, Pa.

She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport and attended Faith Chapel in Hagerstown.

She is survived by two brothers, James Dorman of McKeesport, Pa., and Ralph Dorman of Williamsport; one cousin; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Dorman.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 37 W. Potomac St., Williamsport. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.

The family will receive friends Friday at noon at the church.

William B. Small

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - William B. Small, 93, of Martinsburg, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999, at Care Haven of Berkeley.

Born Feb. 13, 1906, in Martinsburg, he was the son of the late Wendell Seibert and Louise Showers Small.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Kilmer Small.

He was a graduate of Martinsburg High School.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service.

He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

He was a member of Equality Lodge 44 AF & AM; past master of Royal Arch Masons Chapter 2 Martinsburg; Scottish Rite Bodies and Shenandoah Forest 150; and Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

He is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Davis of Rippon, W.Va.; two sons, Howard A. Small of Hagerstown and Donald S. Small of Cambridge, Ohio; a brother, George Small of Martinsburg; eight grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Lucas; and a brother, Phillip Small.

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg. The Rev. Margaret Raven will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Nora W. Ballard

UNION BRIDGE, Md. - Nora "Jean" White Ballard, 69, of Copper Mine Road, died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, at her home.

Born Jan. 4, 1930, in Gadsden, Ala., she was the daughter of the late William Augustus and Mary Odessa Richards White.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Donald Ballard.

She was a homemaker.

She was member of Westminster Baptist Church, Westminster, Md.
