Man treated for stab wounds

A Hagerstown man was treated at Washington County Hospital and released after he was stabbed Tuesday afternoon, according to the Hagerstown City Police and the hospital.

Police went to an apartment at 37 N. Potomac St. at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and found Antonio Donnell Dobbs bleeding from wounds to his forehead, chest and abdomen, Sgt. Mark Renner said.

Dobbs told police he had been stabbed several times by his former girlfriend, Renner said.

Alecia Ann Foster, 24, of 111 E. Washington Street Apt B, Hagerstown, was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, Renner said.

The age and address of Dobbs were unavailable Tuesday night, he said.
