Angela C. Ronzio

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Angela C. Ronzio, 84, of Martinsburg, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Heartland of Martinsburg.

Born Feb. 19, 1914, in Kearneysville, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Tunini Rossi.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Ronzio, in 1985.

She was owner and operator of Angela's Beauty Shop.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America; Chapter 739 Women of the Moose; Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW; and a Red Cross volunteer.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary Perazzoli of Annville, Pa. and Frances Spinelli of Martinsburg; a brother, Louie Rossi of Martinsburg; nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. John V. Dibacco Jr. will be celebrant. Burial prayers will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 327 W. King St., Martinsburg, where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Richard H. Gruber

WILLIAMSPORT - Richard Henry Gruber, 79, of Edward Doub Road, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at Washington County Hospital.

Born in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Richard H. and Grace E. Clopper Gruber.

He was a 1939 graduate of Williamsport High School.

He worked as a pipe and steam fitter for Mack Trucks until retiring in 1978. He was vice president of Gruber Building, Cleaning and Restoration Inc. for the past 30 years.

He served with the U.S. Army for two years.

He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport.

He was a member of Medairy Lodge 140 AF & AM in Williamsport; and Local Union at Mack Trucks.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Adaline Elizabeth Weller Gruber; a son, Richard R. "Dick" Gruber of Williamsport; a granddaughter, Kelly L. Gruber of Wilmington, N.C.; and a grandson, Richard R. Gruber of Fort Collins, Colo.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon Gruber.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The Rev. W. Gregory Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.

The viewing will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home; for the convenience of family and friends, the funeral home will be open Monday after 9 a.m. Masonic services will be conducted Monday by members of Medairy Lodge 140 at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anna M. Gerhold

FORT LOUDON, Pa. - Anna M. Gerhold, 73, of 957 Bear Valley Road, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at her home.

Born July 27, 1925, in Mount Rock, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Harvey M. and Mabel Shriver Gerhold Sr.

She was a homemaker.

She worked in the dietary department of Chambersburg Hospital for 21 years, retiring in 1989.

She is survived by her commonlaw husband of 54 years, H. Douglas Kling; two daughters, Paula A. Fisher of Chambersburg, Pa. and Carol J. Caldwell of Salisbury, Md.; a sister, Gloria Sollenberger of Chambersburg; two brothers, Walter Gerhold of Chambersburg and Frank Gerhold of Waynesboro, Pa.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey M. Gerhold Jr.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery, Chambersburg. The Rev. Aletha L. Painter will officiate.

There will be no public viewing.

Guy M. Johnson

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Guy Morris Johnson, 70, of Martinsburg, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at his home.

Born March 10, 1928, in Berkeley County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Gold and Delia Robinson Johnson.

He was retired from General Motors.

He served with the U.S. Navy.

He was a member of Dudley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, June Green Johnson; a daughter, Colleen Peters of Martinsburg; five sons, James Johnson of Alexandria, Va., Gregory Johnson of Pittsburgh, Phillip Johnson, Morris Johnson and Dennis Johnson, all of Martinsburg; six sisters, Dora McNeill of Washington, D.C., Faye Hatch of Phoenix, Ollie Brown, Leana Cook, Elizabeth Johnson and Cecil Brown, all of Winchester, Va.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Johnson; and three sisters, Blanche Johnson, Chris Johnson and Peggy Jackson.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Dudley Baptist Church. The Rev. Patrick Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens with military graveside services conducted by members of Newton D. Baker Post 896 VFW and Berkeley Post 14 American Legion.
