CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Chambersburg Borough Police were investigating a stabbing Monday night, according to Franklin County emergency officials.
Chambersburg Fire Department rescue workers transported a man from a location on South Third Street in Chambersburg to Chambersburg Hospital shortly after 9 p.m.
The man, whose name was unavailable, sustained potentially "life-threatening" wounds near his heart, said a member of the Chambersburg Fire Department.
No further information was available Monday night and police could not be reached for comment.
