MARLOWE, W.Va. - A Berkeley County Sheriff's Deputy hurt his shoulder in a fight with a suspect early Friday morning, according to Chief Deputy John Vanorsdale.
The incident started when the Washington County Sheriff's Department in Hagerstown told police they were looking for a car that was possibly involved in an accident in Williamsport.
A short time later, Berkeley County Deputy Robert Bussard saw a man walking along U.S. 11 near Marlowe Elementary, said Vanorsdale.
The subject told Bussard he had been in an argument with another man.
After Washington County Sheiriff's Deputies said they didn't need the man immediately, Bussard took the man to his house on Crawford Quarry Road.
