Maryland Symphony Orchestra will offer a student musicians' evening with the MSO, a free education program to middle, high school and college students on Friday, Jan. 15.]
Starting at 6:30 p.m., students are invited to meet with music director candidate Elizabeth Schulze and soprano Rochelle Ellis for a discussion of the music followed by a question-and-answer period.
At 7:30 p.m. the symphony will begin to rehearse and students are encouraged to stay and watch Ellis rehearse Richard Strauss' "Four Last Songs" with the orchestra. The program is free to students and will be at The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St. in Hagerstown. For information, call the MSO at 301-797-4000.
