Here are some of the calls we have received lately:
"Hi. We found a ring of keys Sunday, Dec. 20 at the intersection of Halfway Boulevard and Downsville Pike. It has a large number 92 on the ring. If you can describe the make of the car key on the ring of the other keys, call Mail Call and we will call you. Thank you."
"This is to the people out there who own pets, whether it be dogs, birds, cats ferrets, it really doesn't matter. Whenever you take your animal to the vets, insist that you go back with the pet. Recently I found out not only the veterinarian may work on the animal, but they have students who are learning the veterinarian service. And a lot of times these students work on the animals. Now, I don't know about anybody else, but when I go and pay a high price for a veterinarian, I expect the veterinarian to do the work, not someone that is just learning. Now to me if it is somebody like that that's just learning, to me, I should get a pretty big discount, not pay for a professional. After all, this person is not a professional. He is just learning. And another thing, If you don't like the way the vet or technician is handling the animal you have the right to say, stop where you are, take your pet and leave. You do not have to stay. Do not be afraid to tell them, I do not like the way you are handling the pet, you know we're over, we're out of here, you're not looking at the pet no more. We're leaving. So, don't forget your pets at Christmas time. Keep them out of the cold and make sure they have food and water. Bye."
