Hospital offers sibling classes
Sibling classes are offered at Washington County Hospital, Dorsey Hall, 251 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown, on the second Saturday of each month at 9 a.m.
The class prepares children ages 3 to 8 years of age for the birth of a baby brother or sister. Children take the class the month prior to the delivery date. The cost is $10 in advance. Snacks are included.

Tobacco cessation course to be held
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Summit Health will offer a tobacco cessation course starting Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999. It is a six-part series, from 7 to 8 p.m. at The Chambersburg Hospital lecture center, classroom 2. The cost is $25 for the series, and is offered free to employees of any Summit Health entity. Sarabeth Johnson is the instructor. This program is designed to help people cease their smoking habits, including cigarettes, cigar and smokeless tobacco, through behavior modification.
