WAYNESBORO, Pa. - No student injuries were reported from two school bus accidents Tuesday in the Waynesboro area, according to county dispatchers and Waynesboro Area School District superintendent Robert Mesaros.
Mesaros said there was an accident on Slabtown Road in Quincy Township between 4 and 4:30 p.m. He said the bus was rear-ended by another vehicle, but the driver and students on board were unhurt.
Mesaros did not know if the driver of the other vehicle was hurt, or how many elementary school students were on the bus.
A county dispatcher said there was another accident involving a school bus on Myrtle Avenue in Waynesboro at 4:04 p.m. The dispatcher said no one was injured in that accident but had no other details.
