DUI mother with kids

MARTINSBURG, W. Va. - A Martinsburg woman driving with her three children last Friday morning was charged with driving under the influence after an accident on Albert Street and Moler Street, according to Martinsburg City Police reports.

Police said Patricia Ann Myers, 31, was driving with her three children, ages 6, 3 and 2, when her car struck a 1985 Honda Civic driven by Dawn Leather, 20, of Falling Waters, W.Va.

Myers was charged with driving under the influence and child endangerment, police said.

She failed field sobriety tests and registered a .205 on an Intoxilyzer at the Martinsburg City Police Department, according to allegations contained in police reports.

A .10 Intoxilyzer result is considered legally drunk in West Virginia, according to Martinsburg police.

No injuries were reported in the accident.

Myers was released on $1,067 bond.
