H. Annalee Gutshall

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - H. Annalee Gutshall, 94, of 2075 Scotland Ave., and formerly of 1318 Scotland Ave., Chambersburg, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at Menno-Haven in Chambersburg.

Born Aug. 6, 1904, in Clear Ridge, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael A. and L. Viola Stevens Detwiler.

Her husband, J. Ralph Gutshall, died in 1980.

She attended Juanita College.

She was a sales clerk at Newberry's in Chambersburg, and was employed at the former Lana Lobell store, retiring in 1963.

She attended First Church of God.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Byers and Rita Dangler, both of Chambersburg, Pa., and Joann Beard of Glasgow, Mont; one aunt; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at First Church of God, 339 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg. The Rev. J. Barry Beard will officiate. Burial will be in Three Springs Cemetery in Three Springs, Pa.

A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.

Alfred F. Anderson

INWOOD, W.Va. - Alfred F. Anderson, 75, of Inwood, died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born Jan, 13, 1923, in Madison County, Va., he was the son of the late Oliver and Ella Sisk Anderson.

He was an orchard worker.

He was a member of Light House Church in Darkesville, W.Va.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Louise V. Baker Anderson; two sons, Roy A. Anderson and Frank E. Anderson, both of Madison County, Va.; three stepsons, Lester C. Sisk of Ridgeway, W.Va., Thomas Sisk, at home and Arthur N. Sisk; one stepdaughter, Rebecca Sisk, at home; two sisters, Rosie McKee of Winchester, Va., and Nellie Berry of Ruckersville, Va.; two brothers, Frank Anderson of Brightwood, Va., and John B. Anderson of Wray, Va.; and three stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Welford Anderson, Daniel Anderson and Hoover Anderson.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Rosedale Funeral Chapel in Martinsburg. The Rev. Paul Flick will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral chapel Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Rebecca J. Easterday

An informal graveside service for Rebecca Jean Easterday, formerly of Sharpsburg, who died Aug. 12, 1998, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Sharpsburg Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Clarence W. and M. Pauline Easterday.

L. Dianne Cave

FALLING WATERS, W.Va. - L. Dianne Cave, 53, of Falling Waters, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at her home.

Born March 9, 1945, in Panama City, Fla., she was the daughter of the late Terrell M. and Maude Pitts Brannon.

She was a retired service representative for Bell Atlantic.

She attended Bedington United Methodist Church.

She was a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by three sons, Philip W. Cave Jr., Terry G. Cave and Bradley R. Cave, all of Martinsburg; one brother, Rex. T. Brannon of Panama City; a close friend, Larry L. Emery; and one granddaughter.

Services will be held Wednesday at 3:15 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg. The Rev. Robert W. Barnes will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.

Mildred M. Benson

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Burial for Mildred McCauley Benson, 89, of Martinsburg, who died Thursday, Sept. 24, 1998, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Durham, N.C.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg.

Myrtle R. McGolerick

BOONSBORO - Myrtle R. McGolerick, 99, a resident of Fahrney-Keedy Home, and formerly of Weverton, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at the home.

Born Sept. 27, 1899, in Sandy Hook, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Himes and Annie Pierce Himes Reeser.

Her husband, John William McGolerick Sr., died in 1958.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Brownsville Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathryn L. Rothery of Comer, Ga.; one son, John W. McGolerick Jr. of Knoxville; one half-sister, Ruby R. Tritapoe of Brunswick, Md.; one half-brother, Brisco Reeser of Williamsport; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Himes; and four brothers, Joseph Himes, Jesse Himes, Newton Himes and Charles Himes.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Brownsville Church of the Brethren. The Rev. R. Thomas Fralin Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Old Brownsville Cemetery.
