Mr. Hinz is a 1989 graduate of Buffalo Senior High School and a 1993 graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., with a bachelor of arts degree in physics. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Detrick, Md. He is a research chemist in the Office of Product Development and Regulatory Affairs at U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick.
