CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Borough police were investigating an attempted holdup by a woman Thursday night at Mr. B's Convenience Store, 641 S. Main St.
The incident occurred at about 9 p.m., according to a cashier who declined to give her name. She said a woman came in the store, looked through the aisles and then approached her.
"I got a gun," the woman said, according to the cashier. The robber, in her early to mid-20s, concealed one hand in her coat pocket.
"Don't play with me," the cashier said she told her. The cashier then pressed an alarm button.
"I'm going to get my boys," the woman said before leaving the store and driving away in an older model, dark-colored car that was last seen going south on South Main Street.
