Victor Cullen plans open discussion

SABILLASVILLE, Md. - The Victor Cullen Academy will hold an open discussion on community/academy relations at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, in the chapel at the academy in Sabillasville.

Food service conference planned

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. - Safe food preparation will be the theme of the annual Food Service Education Conference at 2:30 and 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, and Tuesday, Nov. 24, at the student center at Shepherd College in Shepherdstown.

The Jefferson County Board of Health requires everyone who prepares or serves food for the public to have a food service permit.


Attendance at one of these meetings will enable those people to renew permits. Those who have never had a permit must have a tuberculine skin test to complete the requirements. Public health nurses will be on hand to give skin tests.

Chamber to meet

WAYNESBORO, Pa. - The Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce will host its quarterly breakfast meeting, at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at the Chambersburg (Pa.) Mall Center. The cost is $8. RSVP by Tuesday, Dec. 15.
