An interactive workshop designed for caregivers will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Corpus Christi Parish Center on Second Street in Chambersburg, Pa.

The event, sponsored by Hospice of the Good Shepherd, is designed for professional and volunteer caregivers working with health facilities, hospices, churches or synagogues, as well as those who share time with the sick and dying.

The workshop, conducted by Arlene B. Kiely of Faith Interactions, will focus on spirituality, healing, prayer and wholeness.

The cost is $50, including refreshments and lunch.

Six hours of Continuing Education Credits are available to nurses and social workers. Total cost for the program, including CEU's, is $75.

The Blue Ridge Theater Guild will present "Alone Together" at 7 p.m. today in the multipurpose room, Multipurpose Activities Center at Penn State Mont Alto, Mont Alto, Pa.

"Alone Together" is a humorous story of a middle-aged couple whose three sons have finally moved out on their own. However, after experiencing the world, they all return home. Valuing the short time they had together, the parents are faced with pushing their sons out again.

Trampoline artists of Positive Air will teach the "ABC's of High-Performance Living" to students and parents at Frederick County public schools this fall.

Since 1985, Positive Air has presented more than 10,000 performances. The program accentuates and instills positive attitudes that steer youth in the right direction- saying yes to talent, school and opportunities.

When Positive Air visits Frederick County, Md., the group will incorporate messages from the Character Counts! program, as well as about healthy and drug-free living and the importance of reading.

Positive Air will visit with students during the school day.

The public is invited to a performance at 7 p.m. today at Thurmont Elementary School, Thurmont, Md.

Regency Thermographers will celebrate its newly remodeled facility with a Chamber of Commerce mixer from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 725 Clayton Ave., Waynesboro, Pa.

 An open house for armed forces veterans and serving members of the reserve components and National Guard will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

The event will include a campus tour, a chance to meet faculty, briefings from financial aid, admissions and Veterans Affairs personnel, and information about Army and Army Reserve financial aid opportunities.
