Notes: Boonsboro fell to No. 11 in the Class 2A points after last Friday's 39-0 loss to Middletown. The Warriors must win their last two games and get some help from other teams in order to make the postseason ... Boonsboro has won five of the last six meetings ... North leads the series, 15-9.

No. 6 Walkersville at Williamsport

  • Records: Walkersville Lions 6-2; Williamsport Wildcats 5-3.

Notes: The loser falls out of the playoff chase, while the winner hangs on for another week ... Walkersville is No. 14 in the 2A standings and will need lots of help even with a win ... At No. 11 in Class 1A, Williamsport also needs two wins and help to qualify.

Smithsburg at No. 7 Brunswick

Notes: A win by the Railroaders, currently No. 6 in Class 1A, would virtually lock them into a playoff position for the first time since 1995 ... Brunswick has won two of the last three meetings, but Smithsburg leads the series, 16-4.
