POTOMAC, Md. - Taka Tomita scored the only goal of the game on an assist from Steve Bumby as St. James beat St. Andrew's 1-0 on Wednesday.

Peter Mundey recorded the shutout with six saves for St. James (6-3).

St. Andrews outshot St. James, 17-7.

Mercersburg 1, Maret 0

MERCERSBURG, Pa. - Will Hamilton scored on an assist from Emory Mort with three minutes left in the second half, leading Mercersburg Academy to the win.

Andy Dansinger held the lead up with four saves in the shutout for Mercersburg (5-1-2, 4-1-2).

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. - Tiffany Allen had 14 saves for Hedgesville to preserve a scoreless tie with Martinsburg.

MIDDLETOWN, Md. - Dorian Whims scored 19 service points, including nine aces, leading Middletown to a 15-5, 15-12, 16-14 victory.

Luisa Lopez had seven service points and four kills for Middletown (4-3, 2-3).

Mandy Ryder had seven service points and four kills for Catoctin (0-8, 0-4). Kristi Lenhart had six service points and DeAyne Landry added five.

Hedgesville 3, Mercersburg 0

HEDGESVILLE, W.Va. - Lauren Bolte had 10 service points, four aces and four kills for Mercersburg, but the Blue Storm was defeated 15-10, 15-5, 15-8 by Hedgesville.

Angie Cornelius added six kills for Mercersburg (5-2).

Jamie Poist won medalist honors at Beaver Creek, firing a 38 and leading Maret to the nine-point meet victory.

Will McKeachie and Dustin Collins led St. James, each scoring 42.

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. - Javier Arugui, Dan Karolus and Andy Johnson fired 39s to share medalist honors for Mercersburg at Great Cove Golf Club.
