W.Va. squirrel season starts Oct. 10

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - West Virginia's squirrel season opens Saturday, Oct. 10, according to Bernard F. Dowler, chief of the Division of Natural Resources' Wildlife Resources Section.

The season continues through Saturday, Jan. 2, 1999.

The daily bag limit of squirrels is six, with a possession limit of 24. Hunters can check the 1998-99 Hunting and Trapping Regulations for information.
