Worktech Occupational Consulting Service

Worktech Occupational Consulting Service has opened new satellite offices in Middletown, Md., and Hagerstown.

The consultant in charge of the Hagerstown field office, Deborah Harris, has been a vocational rehabilitation specialist for eight years. She has a strong background in individual assessment of achievement, aptitude, intelligence and interests.

Anne McLaughlin operates as a consultant for Worktech in Middletown. She has 13 years of experience as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and 10 years with injured workers. She also provides vocational assessment including achievement, interest and values testing.

Worktech is a private vocational rehabilitation firm which offers a variety of employment and placement-related services throughout the Tri-State area.

Cumberland Valley Mental Health Center

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Cumberland Valley Mental Health Center has announced the addition of Monda Sagalkin, Gary H. Weidman, and Mistie S. Wallech, to its professional staff.

Sagalkin is director of the center's Crisis Intervention Services program. Previously, she was director of Antietam Counseling and EAP Services in Hagerstown and has 30 years of professional experience. She continues her private therapy practice, Brief Therapy Center for Families and Individuals, in Hagerstown and Shepherdstown, W.Va.

Weidman has 12 years of experience working in mental health and substance abuse counseling. He will be working as an outpatient therapist, specializing in work with children and adolescents.

Wallech is also an outpatient therapist, with a specialty in child and adolescent psychotherapy. She has seven years of mental health treatment experience.

ERA Penn 1st Realty

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Peggy Hays, of ERA Penn 1st Realty, was recently named top producer for the first half of 1998 for the Penn 1st office in Greencastle.

Hays, of State Line, had the highest dollar volume closed so far for 1998.

She has been selling real estate for 15 years and is licensed in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Groups of employees from various business units within Alcoa are already working to ensure the smooth integration of Alumax facilities into Alcoa.

The Frederick plant will be operating under the name Alcoa, Eastalco Works.

The plant employs 832 people.
