Fellowship group plans fall retreat

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Autumn Actions, a senior citizens fellowship group sponsored by CBM Ministries, will hold its annual fall retreat from Monday, Sept. 21, to Friday, Sept. 25, at Camp Joy-El.

The theme for the retreat is "Good Gracious Autumn Living," with the Rev. Clarence Strite as guest speaker.

The week will include Bible studies, helpful seminars, recreation, crafts, music and an all-day bus trip.

Overnight and daytime plans are available.

Seats are available for the one-day bus trip to Lancaster County, Pa., on Thursday, Sept. 24.

Autumn Fest set for Oct. 24

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - The 8th annual Old-Fashioned Autumn Fest will be Saturday, Oct. 24, at Rhodes Grove Camp, three miles north of Greencastle.


The day will begin with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m.

The rest of the day will feature a craft fair, pork roast, chicken barbecue, antique engines, cider press, homemade French fries, a blacksmith, pony rides, hayrides, clowns, a baby animal barnyard, food stand and music.

Crafters are being sought to fill available spaces.
