Graveside services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown. The Rev. Darryl C. Zoller will officiate.

Friends may call at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The family requests the omission of flowers.

Marian R. Marks

GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Marian R. Marks, 83, of 11686 Kimberly Drive, died Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1998, at Chambersburg (Pa.) Hospital.

Born Jan. 26, 1915, in Hancock, she was the daughter of Viola Williams Smith, of Johnstown, Pa., and the late Thomas Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Marks Sr., in 1971.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by six daughters, Nancy Jones of Greencastle, Delores Price of Mercersburg, Pa., Virginia Jenkins, Marian Mattress and Catherine Dawson, all of Chambersburg, and Carolyn Shaffer of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; seven sons, Joseph Marks Jr. of Chambersburg, Charles Marks of Potomac, Md., Steven Marks of Upper Marlboro, Md., Freddie Marks of Mercersburg, Robert Marks and Phillip Wayne Marks, both of Pittsburgh, and Reginald Marks of Forrestville, Md.; four sisters, Catherine Jones and Evelyn Jefferson, both of Cleveland, Josephine Russell and Madeline Clayborne, both of Johnstown, Pa.; and a brother, Thomas Smith Jr. of Johnstown; 53 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Adele Marks.

Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg. The Rev. Patricia Tillman will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home; and on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Bonnie L. Fischer

Bonnie Lee Hottle Landaker Fischer, 56, of 731 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 1998, at Washington County Hospital.

Born Aug. 1, 1942, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of Atalee Virginia Baker Hottle Smith of Hagerstown and the late Harvey Lee Hottle.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Franklin Landaker Sr.

She attended South Hagerstown High School.

She was a housekeeper.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Frederick Daniel Fischer; two daughters, Robin L. Netz of Needmore, Pa., and Melissa A. McPherson of Hagerstown; a son, Norman E. Hottle of Martinsburg, W.Va.; two sisters, Linda L. Kelley and Callista D. Locklear, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Norman W. Baker of Conway, S.C. and Robert W. Hottle of Winchester, Va.; eight grandchildren; eight nieces; and five nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Curtis F. Landaker Jr.; and her stepfather, Donald A. Smith.

Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Robert L. Dell will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
