Paul Brandenburg Tournament

South Mountain 10, American 9: Jared Ferguson, Jason Brusky and Danny Birchsield had two hits apiece and Tyler Fath picked up the win for South Mountain. Jon Houser had a pair of hits for American.

Adam Kees Tournament

Maugansville 8, South Mountain 1: Mikkel Wallech tossed a one-hitter to lead Maugansville. Brandon Pointer had the only hit for South Mountain.

National 11, Halfway 5: Brian Gossard had three hits and Justin Marshall and Nate Steelman had two each to lead National. Matt Petro and Donald Saum homered and John Hose and Devon Vinci had two hits each for Halfway.


Valley 8, Clear Spring 6: Tyler Wolford and David Felton each scored two runs for Valley. Rodney Swope threw a five-hitter with 11 strikeouts and had two hits for Clear Spring. Tommy Stotler went 4-for-4 and Zach Rector added two hits for Clear Spring.

Thomas Evans Tournament

National 17, Federal 5: Brittany Hyatt had three hits and struck out 15 to lead National. Darren Jackson had three hits, while Katie Sirbaugh, Bradley Kennedy and Vince Iuliano added two hits each.

Jeremy K. Smith Tournament

South Mountain A 11, Maugansville 1: Cameron Shifler and Brandon Rohrer combined on a four-hitter to lead South Mountain A. Shifler struck out six and had three hits. Brian Toms had two hits for the winners.

Halfway 12, Hancock 2: Cody Grove had three hits, while Keith King and Tommy Wallech added two apiece to lead Halfway. Jaret Trail had two hits for Hancock.


Tavern League

Old Orchard Liquors 17, Delmar Inn 14: Jeremy Burkholder had three hits and Scott Kidd and Tom Sterrett homered for Old Orchard Liquors.

South End 30, Sunset Tavern 3: Greg Petty had four hits and Donny Gipe hit for the cycle for South End.
