Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Lawrence M. Bryant, a 1992 graduate of Frederick (Md.) High School, recently departed to participate in a multinational exercise in the Mediterranean and Baltic Sea aboard the hospital ship USNS Comfort, home ported in Baltimore.




Navy Hospitalman Todd W. Bolyard, a 1995 graduate of Hedgesville High School in Hedgesville, W.Va., recently departed to participate in a multinational exercise in the Mediterranean and Baltic Sea aboard the hospital ship USNS Comfort, home ported in Baltimore.




Navy Hospitalman Daniel C. Galusha, son of Thomas and Carol Mechanick of Waynesboro, Pa., recently departed to participate in a multinational exercise in the Mediterranean and Baltic Sea aboard the hospital ship USNS Comfort, home ported in Baltimore. Galusha is a 1996 graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School.




Marine Pvt. John S. Reid, son of John M. and Kathleen S. Reid of Charles Town, W.Va., recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Reid is a 1996 graduate of Jefferson High School in Shenandoah Junction, W.Va.

Navy Airman William A. Rasbornick, son of Bill H. Rasbornick of Mount Airy, Md., and Donna Walters of Frederick, Md., recently departed on a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean with Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 113, embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. Rasbornick is a 1997 graduate of Linganore High School in Frederick, Md.




Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Raymond J. Hartman, son of Raymond A. and Mary L. Hartman of Middletown, Md., recently was promoted to his present rank while serving aboard the guided missile destroyer USS Stethem, home ported in San Diego. Hartman was promoted based on sustained superior job performance and proficiency in his designated specialty. Hartman is a 1993 graduate of Middletown High School.




Marine Pfc. Steven M. Reynolds, son of Teresa W. Reynolds of Williamsport, and Dennis W. Reynolds of Clear Spring, recently graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C. Reynolds is a 1996 graduate of Clear Spring High School.




Navy Lt. j.g. April T. Crowell, daughter of John R. Talhelm of Chambersburg, Pa., recently visited Hong Kong while on a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean and Arabian Gulf aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, home ported in Everett, Wash. Crowell, is a 1984 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School, a 1991 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., with a bachelor of science degree, and a 1994 graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, Mo., with a master's degree in business administration.




Army Pvt. Richard S. Buckman, son of Nancy L. and stepson of Walter Elick of Falling Waters, W.Va., has entered basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.




Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Britnee R. McIntyre, daughter of Tammy L. Courtemanche of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Richard T. McIntyre of Charles Town, W.Va., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.




Air National Guard Airman Aaron W. Mann, son of Diane V. Mann of Martinsburg, W.Va., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Mann is a 1989 graduate of Martinsburg High School.




Air Force Airman April D. Hafner, daughter of Rhonda G. Loy of Chambersburg, Pa., and Barlow M. Hafner of Benton, Ark., has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Hafner is a 1997 graduate of Chambersburg Area High School.
