Joyce Hetzer, vice president and treasurer of Hagerstown Trust, has been named to a two-year term as president of the Zonta Club of Hagerstown.

Her term will run from 1998 to 2000.

Zonta International is a worldwide service organization of executives in business working together to improve the status of women.

St. Lawrence Cement




St. Lawrence Cement is employing 14 students this summer under a program to help employees' children further their educations.

The interns, under the supervision of Ralph Belin, yard supervisor, perform a wide variety of tasks.

Bradley L. Cottrill, of Robert Thomas Securities Inc. in Hagerstown, was recently named to the Kemper Executive Council, an exclusive organization for financial representatives that sell Kemper financial products.

Fewer than 1 percent of all financial representatives selling Kemper products achieve Kemper Executive Council status.

O'Neill Physical Therapy Services

Tammy Young, a physical therapist with O'Neill Physical Therapy Services in Hagerstown, recently completed a continuing education course in the Maitland Essential Principles of Modern Manual Therapy.

First General Services of Pen-Mar




ZULLINGER, Pa. - Nancy Glass, president of First General Services of Pen-Mar Inc. in Zullinger, Pa., recently attended a technical seminar conducted by the National Institute of Disaster Restoration in Vancouver, British Columbia.

The seminar showed the latest testing techniques for concrete, wood, art works, biological contaminants, toxics, moisture and more, including instruments never seen before in the United States.
