Pa. troopers investigate 346 crimes in June

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police in Franklin County, Pa., investigated 346 criminal offenses in June, according to a monthly activity report from barracks Commander Lt. Thomas L. Barkdoll.

Troopers cleared 179 cases during the month and made 192 arrests, the report said.

Four people were killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred June 19. The report said 58 more people were injured in accidents.

There were 88 accidents in June and 19 hit-and-run accidents. Troopers arrested 22 people for driving under the influence

The report said troopers issued 642 traffic citations and another 423 written warnings.
