CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Three men face drug charges after borough police served search warrants at two homes early Saturday.

The report said the homes on South Hackberry Drive and West Catherine Street were searched at 12:10 a.m. by members of the department's Crime Impact Team, assisted by the Special Emergency Team and a K-9 unit.

Police said the searches were conducted after a month-long investigation prompted by complaints from residents about activity at the two houses.

Police said John L. Burns, of 411 W. Catherine St., Chambersburg, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ted K. Wilson, no fixed address, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, police said.

Derrick S. Thomas, of 203 S. Hackberry Drive, Chambersburg, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.

All three were arraigned before District Justice Gary Carter and jailed on $10,000 bond each. A Franklin County Prison spokesman said only Wilson was still being held Monday.

Police said drug paraphernalia and several pieces of crack cocaine were found at the West Catherine Street address. Drug paraphernalia was found at South Hackberry Drive, police said.
